The fourth Annual Berkeley Springs – Morgan County Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet, Sponsored by CNB Bank, Inc., will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at The Country Inn. You can purchase tickets here!
These seven people/organizations will be the grand marshals for the 51st Annual Apple Butter Festival parade.
The categories are as follows:
Apple Butter Festival Volunteer of the Year This is someone who shows up by helping make the festival the absolute best it can be for the entire community.
Employee of the Year Awarded to the person that works for someone else but whose commitment and dedication was as if the business was their own. This person arrives early, stays late and otherwise “throws the job description out of the window” to do what needs to be done.
Business of the Year This business always has their employees and community at heart and does whatever it takes to provide for their clients and customers. (Any size.)
Nonprofit of the Year Awarded to a nonprofit organization that works tirelessly behind the scenes (and often out front, too) to serve our community. This organization goes above and beyond to make a meaningful impact in Morgan County, strengthening lives, supporting those in need, and helping make our community a better place for all.
Community Service Award Awarded to the person that strives to make the county a better place through volunteer service to the community.
Community Hero Award Awarded to law enforcement, fire & rescue, or other service members who protect and show up for our community.
Morganite This top award is for someone who is outstanding in his/her field and goes above and beyond the call of duty to make Morgan County a better place to live, work and own/operate a business through their public service to this community.
