Economic Outlook Luncheon

Join Us for the 2026 Economic Outlook Luncheon!

Tuesday, December 8 at Noon | Cacapon Resort State Park

What does the coming year have in store for West Virginia’s economy, and what might it mean for our businesses here in Morgan County?

We’re delighted to welcome John Deskins back to Berkeley Springs for our annual Economic Outlook Luncheon, one of the Chamber’s most popular events of the year!

John serves as Assistant Dean for Outreach and Engagement, Director of the Bureau of Business & Economic Research, and Associate Professor of Economics at West Virginia University’s John Chambers College of Business and Economics. Through his work with the Bureau, he provides nonpartisan economic analysis and forecasting to help businesses and communities better understand the economic landscape.

If you’ve attended before, you already know that John has a knack for making economic data interesting, understandable, and relevant to the decisions we make every day. He’ll share insights into what’s happening across West Virginia, what trends are emerging, and what we might expect as we head into 2027.

And, of course, there’s lunch! A complimentary meal will be provided by our wonderful hosts at Cacapon Resort State Park.

This event is made possible through the generous support of CNB Bank, the Morgan County Economic Development Authority, Cacapon Resort State Park, and the Berkeley Springs–Morgan County Chamber of Commerce.

Please RSVP through our website to reserve your seat. Seating is limited, and we hope you’ll join us for an informative and enjoyable afternoon!
