The creativity this year has been incredible! With nearly 50 submissions from around the world, our judges had quite the task narrowing it down. Thanks to the careful review by our panel of judges, four outstanding designs have been selected and are now ready for the next step.

Take a look at the finalist designs and help us choose the logo that will represent the 51st Annual Apple Butter Festival. Voting is now open, one vote per email address, and we can’t wait to see which design you choose! Voting closes Friday, June 12th, 2026 at midnight! (In no particular order.)
Note: We’ve done our very best to select designs that appear to be created by human artists, based on the information available to us. Last year, we were fortunate to receive entirely hand-created submissions, so we didn’t need to establish any guidelines around AI-generated artwork. As times (and technology!) continue to evolve, we’ll absolutely be putting more defined rules in place for next year’s contest. We also want to acknowledge that not everything that looks AI-generated actually is – we’ve seen original sketches and creative processes behind some of these designs that tell a very different story. We appreciate your understanding and, as always, your incredible creativity!

The 2026 Apple Butter Festival Logo Contest is officially open, and this is your chance to be part of festival history. Whether you’re a professional artist, a passionate creative, or someone who just loves bringing ideas to life, we want to see your vision.
Think apples. Think tradition. Think creativity. Read the requirements below. Then put it all together and show us what the Apple Butter Festival means to you.
🎨 Your design could become the face of the 2026 Festival, featured on merchandise, promotions, and all things Apple Butter, a little slice of Berkeley Springs fame! 😉

Requirements:
Art must feature apples.
Art must feature the words “Apple Butter Festival” and “Berkeley Springs, WV”
Art must have “51st” or “51” and “2026” as part of the design.
Art must be original and the intellectual property of the person submitting it.
Art must feature no more than 2 colors due to printing constraints. (Don’t forget that black counts as a color!) The logo will be printed on Black and Sage Green Shirts, and on White for other merch. (Tote bags, etc.)
Art must have a release form attached with name, contact information, and permission to be used by the Berkeley Springs-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce and the Apple Butter Festival.
Artists can enter as many times as they like, please make sure a separate release is attached to each.
Art must be received by hard copy or digitally at the Berkeley Springs-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce office at 127 Fairfax St. or email to Admin@BerkeleySpringsChamber.com by close of business on May 17th 2026.
Art becomes the property of the Berkeley Springs-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce once received. Those wishing to have original works returned must make arrangements to pick up after contest judging.
A panel of judges will review all submissions and their top selections will be published for community voting. The winner will be announced on June 19th. Winning design will be featured on t-shirts and other logo merchandise for the Apple Butter Festival.
